The Inver Grove Heights asphalt drum plant was the second plant installed by Bituminous Roadways. This property houses an asphalt pavement mixing facility, a quality control testing lab, a wash plant, and three asphalt cement terminals.
The Inver Grove Heights asphalt plant has been awarded the MAPA (Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association) Ecological Commendation Award consistently since the year 2000. This award program recognizes asphalt pavement production facilities that best demonstrate safe and responsible environmental practices. The award nomination also takes into consideration design layout, community relations and clean operation.
