In addition, our quality control team operates out of state-of-the-art laboratories to perform testing on material samples from project sites, aggregate stockpiles, asphalt cement samples, and other materials.

Asphalt Plants
BR owns and operates three asphalt plants throughout the seven-county metro area. The plants are strategically located to service our customers efficiently. Each plant is slightly different in how it operates and how much asphalt is produced from each.

Aggregates & Other Material
Did you know Bituminous Roadways mines our own aggregate? Did you know we also sell other materials?
Products we mine and prep at our Inver Grove Heights location we use in our asphalt mixes as well as offer as an outside sales product.
Items we sell are:
- Class 5 Recycle
- Asphalt Millings
- Reclaimed Asphalt/Aggregate
- Select Granular
- Washed Sand
BR offers these materials at a minimum purchase of $50 per load. Each of our asphalt plants sells these materials.
