Do you remember last Monday and Tuesday when the mercury soared to 100 degrees?

Do you remember the news reports of traffic delays due to buckling pavement around the metro area? Last I heard there were 24 buckled pavements needing emergency repair.

Have you noticed this happens mostly in the metro and high traffic roads? What do these buckled pavements have in common?

These blow-ups occur in concrete pavements.

And oh, by the way, the fix is the same. It’s asphalt.
