The Man’s Got Pride in His Work (10/26/11)

Mark Rogers is one of our estimators. I might be a bit biased, but I believe Mark is one of the most honest, friendly and sincere persons you could ever meet. Mark had been with us for 14 years when he left us at the end of the 2009 construction season. He then went to work for a competitor in 2010. Fortunately for us, Mark returned to BR the spring of this year. Recently, Mark wrote the following letter to our employees for our company newsletter:

“I’d like to thank all of the crew, foremen, and supervisors for their top-notch work. I have heard many times from different customers on how much they trust and have come to rely on the quality of our work. There is no better guarantee of retaining customers than that. Relationships and quality of work play a part of business now more than ever.

“My job in securing work is greatly enhanced by all of your efforts. Cutting corners seems to be many company’s response in this economy. Our customers have come to expect that the result will be a good job. Good quality work never goes unnoticed. Thank you for your hard work so far this season.”

Thank you for noticing, and appreciating, Mark.
